I'm pleased to announce Buddy has a new family. He hasn't moved yet but got to meet them today.

Meet Kuma and Dee. They are German Shepherd and Queensland mixes. Kuma has the brown on his legs and Dee has more white on her face.

It was kind of neat Buddy and Kuma were side by side walking thru the different areas of the yard, like Kuma was showing him around!

And even stopped to wash Buddy's face.

He will have, as you can see, a LOVELY yard and home and it's a great neighborhood, nice and quiet! But the family is the real selling point for me!
However the neatest part is he won't even know he's adopted since they look so much alike!
I love rescue!

Congrats on finding Buddy a new forever home! It looks perfect!
you're such a crack up...he won't know he's adopted 'cause they look so much alike! ;-0
Oh, I'm getting teary eyed here...
Hooray for Buddy! That is great...I agree, it is nice when humans take us dogs on vacations with them! I LOVE traveling with my Mom and Dad.
Kisses,
Nala
What a beautiful new family he will have :)
lucky boy!
We must be losing it. We thought sure we left a note earlier today.
We're happy for Buddy and for you. It must make you feel good to know Buddy will have a happy home.
Good work .. they got room for a low-maintenance guy???
I absolutely love rescue to, and happy endings/beginnings
how lovely :)
Perfect fit ! ! ! Long lost brother returns home to the pack. LOL over the he won't know he's adopted....
Yay, another new family!
Are you going to the OCRRC match on Saturday? I'm thinking about driving up with Thani.
Another happy ending! Yay, Buddy!!
thanks for your congrats for Charlie, by the way.
You can send some good bunny vibes his way as he is not at all well :(
I did leave a comment for Lucy ... poor Charlie. We don't have any experiences with the symptoms Charlie has so could not offer much in the way of help. Hopefully another vet visit might get to the bottom of it.
Those kind of problems sure are heartbreaking .. just can't find an easy solution and the bunny and you keep suffering.
Rabbits don't live forever, and many have lots of problems, so every little joy is a big deal for us! Fortunately we are in a "good" patch right now . :<)
Keep on rescuing!
hey thanks for sending RG over with advice - both Charlie and I are very grateful to you :)
Yes the disapproving look was intensified by his wonky face, which I'd previously had checked out and they found no problems with. Now this new (more knowledgable, methinks) vet thinks it's all connected...the lopsidedness something to do with nerves in the roots of his teeth, perhaps?
Thanks for your encouragement and prayers for my lovely bun - such a cheerful and friendly little chap he is - so sad to see him in discomfort :(
love to all your furry friends xx
What great news! I love a happy ending, and Buddy looks thrilled to meet his new siblings (and yes, they do look similar!). It must be hard to say goodbye - maybe you could rope them into having a blog so we can all see how Buddy is doing? ;)
You are doing some really fabulous work for these animals - giving them a second chance at a happy life!
WOAH! WOOT! & BINKIES!!!!
That's great and happy news! Congratulations to him, and I hope he has all the happiness in his new forever home.
Cheers! *tink*
