after two months of having this precious guy in my life...

he finally gets to have his forever home!!!

yup, the family from tuesday's visit is adopting him!

saturday morning i will drive him to his new family, about an hour away. he will have a 12 year old boy that will dote on him and love him and picked him over another dog we have in rescue that is a 7 month old puppy! he wanted Boomer over a puppy!!!

i'm so happy for Boomer... this is worth the tears i will shed in saying goodbye...
and will be why i shed tears of joy - knowing he is where he belongs...

safely home. forever.

That's great for Boomer...good for that little boy picking him over the puppy! That is pawesome!

Glad you liked my travel tips. ;) Last year we did a coast trip too and those are our favorite as well. I just love running in the sand.

As for dogs rolling in poo at dog parks...I just don't get it. The second dog park we went to was not so great for me as I really don't like to smell poo that much. There was a beautiful little white Yorkie kind of dog following me around, and I kept trying to escape from him because on one whole side of his fur he was no longer that crisp, pure white but rather a horribly smelling, icky brown. It was GROSS! Once Mom figured out why I was trying to escape the dog we left pretty quickly as I was clearly not enjoying myself. ;)

Have a tail-waggin' good day!

Puppy Kisses,
Nala

Boomer looks like a deeply satisfied dog who knows he's found his forever home. That boy's simple choice to choose him is wonderful.
