why i love rescue...

because of those times when everything turns out right...

Boomer's new yard is amazing, lovely trees and grass and shade and paths and they even get DEER (aka vishus deer) in their yard! I'm sure Boomer will protect his family from the vishus deer so all you kitty bloggers out there have nothing to fear!

Here he is exploring his paradise.

This is one of his two new brothers, making sure Boomer knows who's boss!

There's nothing more lovely than a boy and his dog.
This special, compassionate young man chose Boomer over a 7 m.o. puppy in rescue.
They are going to be inseparable.

Boomer getting some loving and reassurance from his new dad.
I love this picture.

The happy family. They are incredible, a perfect match for him!

Brought to you with much joy because Ridgeback Rescue exists and cares.

(i'm working on a video of pics chronicling Boomer's journey with me but it's proving harder than i thought... maybe someday i will finish and post it!)

It looks like Boomer has found a lovely new home and family. Thanks for being such a good mum to him while he was waiting for his forever home!

Hey, Mum, ah, just for my own edification. My comments keep disappearing from your blog. Are you trying to tell me something?

I read your reply and I figured as much, I've put a notice on the sidebar about this - I just posted a comment on someone else's blog and it just disappeared!
What I said earlier is that I was feeling weepy today as a physical after effect of Tropical Storm Fay but that I would have teared up nonetheless. You did good, Mum. Real good.
Now I'm going to copy this and see what happens.
